Donald Ray McCamish

Donald Ray McCamish, 85 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at his home. He was a resident of Hardin County and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Kentucky Thermoplastics for over 30 years and was a lifelong farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Ellen Ray McCamish; a grandson, Andrew McCamish and his siblings, Joseph McCamish, Charles McCamish, Hettie Best, Rosaline Thomas and Pauline Reesor. He is survived by two sons, Tim (Roslyn) McCamish of Cecilia and Donald (Tonya) McCamish of Elizabethtown; four daughters, Victoria Dye, Debbie (Paul) Reed and Stephanie (Tracey) Evans all of Elizabethtown and Tina (Richard) Cooper of Hodgenville; the mother of his children, Martha Weddington of Elizabethtown; one brother, Paul McCamish of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Teresa Reesor of Elizabethtown and Mary Hufford of PA; 12 grandchildren, Amanda Hill, John David Dye, Emerald Dye, Richard Timothy Chadd McCamish, Crystal Vertrees, Joshua Reed, Jeremiah Reed, James Cooper, Mackenzie McCamish, Cody Evans, Shane Evans and Bryan Evans and 25 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Chaplain Raymond Guenther officiating. Burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery in Colesburg. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
