Barbara Gipson Manco, 76, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Edmondson County, a member of Rineyville Baptist Church, and a member of Royal Knights of the Road. She retired as a bus driver for Hardin County Schools after 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Manco; her parents, Frank and Mary Kersey Gipson; and two brothers, Jimmy and Donald Gipson. She was survived by five sons, Tim (Linda) Manco of Elizabethtown, Jeff (Sherry) Manco of Shepherdsville, Michael (Amy) Manco of Elizabethtown, Eugene Manco of Texas, and Jeff Collier of Elizabethtown; three daughters, Terry (David) Barnes of Vine Grove, Michele (Donnie) Kitchen of Cecilia, and Penny Collier of Louisville; one brother, Richard (Nancy) Gipson of Elizabethtown; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Sister Trish Stanford officiating. Burial follows at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
