Michael Lee Aubrey, Sr. 68 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Jefferson County, served in the Army during Vietnam and was a member of Cedar Springs Church of Christ. He retired from International Harvester and was a faithful husband and father. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Cindy Faye Aubrey and Tammy Hornback; his parents, A. J. and Evelyn Welch Aubrey and a brother, Wayne Aubrey. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Freda Nicholas Aubrey; one son, Michael Lee Aubrey, Jr.; a brother, Mark (Charlotte) Aubrey of Pewee Valley and four grandchildren, Joseph Foss, Drew Hornback, Michael Foss, Logan Foss. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Christian Church Cemetery in Larue County.
