Glenis Janeth Melgar, 55 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at her home. She was a native of Honduras, a member of The Journey Church and was a Registered Nurse. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Fidel Melgar; two sons, Fidel Melgar, Jr. of Elizabethtown and Franco Melgar of Louisville; two daughters, Patricia Melgar and Francesca Melgar both of Elizabethtown and three grandchildren, Adam, Jasmine and Ciana. The funeral will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Johannesburg Boulware officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
