Dawn Marie Schmidt, 56 of Rineyville, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Rockwood, TN as a result of an automobile accident. She was a native of Port Huron, MI and a member of Rineyville Baptist Church. She loved her job at Midwest Logistics Systems and loved to help people. She was my friend, my love, my wife and we had 31 loving years together. If you needed help, she was always there to help if she could. She loved her work and the guys she worked with, always keeping them inline. My blue eyes will be missed very much. She was Nana to all the grandkids, she just loved life in general. She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Ray Kester and a brother, Billy Ray Kester. She is survived by her husband, John K. Schmidt; one son, John Flora of Rineyville; one daughter, Angela Westfall of Rineyville; her mother and step father, Nancy and William Clark of Skidway Lake, MI; two brothers, Mark Kester and Donald Davis both of Michigan and six grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Rineyville Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Shaklett officiating. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home and continue after 11 a.m. Monday at the Church. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
