Joseph William Polin, "Joe", passed away on Friday, October 28th, 2016 in Charleston, South Carolina at the age of 49. Joe was a brilliant mechanical technician and worked in the laboratory of The Bosch Group in Charleston. He was loved deeply and will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew him. Joe is survived by his fiance, Renee Shelley, his ex-wife Shannon Ruth Polin, his six children, Katherine Polin' Elizabeth Polin, Savannah Polin, Joseph Polin, Kyle Jones and Brendan Brown; and one granddaughter, Kendall Rivers. He is also survived by his parents Sara Margaret Polin and Joseph Donahue Polin, as well as his siblings Shannon McCullough, Rick (Samantha) Polin and Jamie (Stefanie) Polin and eight nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Linebach officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
