Morris Eugene Leasor, Sr., 94 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Helmwood Health Care Facility. He was a native of Larue County and served in the Army during WWII. He was an active member of Glendale Christian Church where he served as an Elder. He was a former bus driver for Jefferson County School System, owned a ceramic shop in Glendale for a few years and retired from Sealtest Dairies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Beckham Leasor and his parents, James O. and Molly Hornback Leasor. He is survived by two sons, Morris E. Leasor, Jr. (Linda R.) of Elizabethtown and Gary D. Leasor (Linda) of Fair Haven, NJ; two daughters, Sharon Wagoner (David) of Georgetown and Sherry Leasor of Elizabethtown; one brother, Robert "Bob" Leasor of New Washington, IN; one sister, Gladys Weber of Louisville; six grandchildren, Brian Leasor of Elizabethtown, Shannon Leasor (Jeanette) of Upton, Todd Wagoner (Michelle) of Lexington, Matthew Wagoner (Michelle) of Louisville, Chris Leasor (Erica) of Westfield, NJ and Katie Leasor of New York City, NY; ten great grandchildren, Chelsa Leasor, Nick Leasor, Alex Leasor, Dustin Wagoner (Torie), Rachael Wagoner, Clayton Wagoner, Allison Wagoner, Lauren Wagoner, Samantha Leasor and Max Leasor and a great great grandson, Saylem Wagoner. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Glendale Christian Church with Bro. Jeff Gaines and Bro. Mike Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home and continue after 10 a.m. Thursday at Glendale Christian Church.
