Juan A. Gierbolini, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Puerto Rico. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired from both the Army and Federal Civil Service. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Helga Poehlmann Gierbolini of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Petra Barden of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren; Nicholas Barden, Erik (Olivia) Barden, and Stefan (Lindsey) Barden and four great grandchildren; Tristin, Alexis, Trey, and Asher Barden. Visitation is Thursday, March 10 at Brown Funeral Home from 10:30-1:30. A graveside service, with military honors, will be Thursday, March 10 at The Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery at 2:00pm.
