Alben J Martin, 78, of Rineyville, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Rineyville and member at Elizabethtown Church of Christ. He served in the U. S. Army for six years, serving in Fort. Knox, Fort. Lee, VA, Fort. Lewis, Washington and Fort. Wainwright, Alaska. He retired from Crucible Magnetics after 30 years of employment. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Doris Martin and a brother, Charles Ray Martin. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patsy Martin of Rineyville; a son, Steven (Kathy) Martin of Rineyville; a daughter, Karen Rae (Robert) Losher of Springboro, OH; a granddaughter, Ashley Losher of Springboro, OH and a sister, Katherine Chinn. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
