Carl Skillman Sr. "Pappy", 62, of Elizabethtown passed away at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded from this life by his mother, Pauline Skillman, father, Ernest Skillman, a sister, Paula J. Skillman. Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Ford, 2 sons; Carl Skillman Jr., Chris Skillman (Audrey); 4 brothers; Charles Skillman (Ann), Billy Skillman (Quinn), David Skillman, Shannon Skillman, 3 sisters: Debora Handley (Elmer), Pam Skillman , Sherri Skillman, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special niece, Shayla Skillman and a special nephew, Jeremy Handley. The funeral will be Saturday August 29 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Dr. B. T. Bishop officiating. Visitation is Friday 5:00-8:00 pm and continue after 9:00 am Saturday at Brown Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday at 10:00 am at Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
