Mary Louise Davenport, 83, of Elizabethtown died Monday, March 9, 2015 at Signature Healthcare. She was a native of Larue County, a graduate of Larue County High School and was formerly a secretary for Judge Holbert's office. She loved oil panting and loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Taylor Davenport and her parents, Everett and Ella Mae Skaggs Meredith. She is survived by two sons, William Joseph (Judy) Davenport of Elizabethtown and Michael Lee Davenport of Horse Cave and several half brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Ellen (Corey) Germain, Rachael (Stephen) Finn, Sarah (Tim) Sexton and Wendy (Dan) Teeter. A Memorial service will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. A. J. Dummitt officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21st at Brown Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to Feeding America.
