Sondra, I'm so sorry I'm not feeling well and can't make it to either the visitation or the funeral tomorrow for your mother. I did my usual pat on her hand on the walker last Sunday morning as she waited at the side door for you to bring the car around and exchanged goodbyes with her. She gave me her usual big smile and turned to look for you. I headed on out the door and had to move out of the way when you went to get her. I just never would have thought that would have been my last word with her. She was such a special lady! It won't be the same at church without her, but I'll be looking forward to seeing you.
