Brown, Anita, Pat, Chase, I am so sorry to hear that Yvonne passed away. Please know that we are praying for peace and comfort during the next days and weeks. We loved Yvonne deeply and her absence will be felt. Love to you.

Ms. Yvonne was such a wonderful person. She had been a big part of Adyson's life as she assisted in her dance instruction over many years. Adyson was taught by Ms. Yvonne and the rest of the ladies since she was old enough to wear a tutu. Ms. Yvonne and rest of the instructors will forever hold a dear place in all our hearts. We want to wish our condolences to her family for their loss and to let them know they are in our prayers.

Brown and Ms. Anita, I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Yvonne's passing. She was such an important part of my childhood, and I know I'm not alone. She was an inspiration and positive, mother-like figure to so many little girls growing up. I know for many of us, the few hours we spent in Mrs. Yvonne's class were our favorite and most anticipated time of the week! For me, our relationship went far beyond dance classes. Personally, Mrs. Yvonne helped me through multiple health and emotional issues growing up. She truly instilled so much encouragement and confidence in me that has shaped who I am as a person today, and I will always be so grateful for that. (She also gave my my first real job - in the boutique!) I am so blessed with memories like our Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade trip and times when Mrs. Yvonne did extra, private classes with me. And I still have several Christmas gifts and other little keepsakes from her. I know she went above and beyond being just a dance teacher for so many little girls like me. She was such a special, extraordinary person who will be so missed. I am praying for your family's comfort.

Lauren was only 3 years old when we went into the back of the music store. I was told we could go into either class. I always counted my blessings that another mother I knew motioned me to go into Ms. Yvonne’s class and there we stayed for about 14 years. Loved every recital, trips to Disney, and New York and everything in between. Thank you for a lifetime of memories. We will miss you greatly. Prayers for family and friends.

We were so saddened to hear of Yvonne’s passing. She was such a blessing to my daughter Jacqui, and so many other girls in Ballet. We love and appreciate her and Brown so much. They have been such a blessing to us personally and to WJCR FM.
