Stephen Thomas Brady, 66, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Norton Womens and Childrens Hospital in Louisville. He is retired from Soudal/Accumetric. He loved front porch sitting, crossword puzzles, fishing, and the mountains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Opal Brady. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Debbie Dunn Brady of Elizabethtown; one son, Steven Brady of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Katie (Nick) Brady Dodd of Vertrees; one sister, Virginia Tootie (Mark) Paulsen of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Clayton Thomas Dodd and Carter Brady; his cat, Walker; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A casual memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Mark Paulsen and Brian Harper officiating. Visitation starts 5 p.m. Monday and continues until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hardin County Animal Shelter.
