Patricia "Patt" Ann Koeneman, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at her residence. Patt was a member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church and was baptized in the Jordan River on one of her two trips to Israel. She loved to travel. Pat retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital after 35 years. She had a very close group of retired nurses who got together monthly and helped take care of her until the end. Pat was a warm and giving person who did a lot of volunteering and community outreach in Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Koeneman; her parents, Erwin and Ethel Fox; two brothers, John Fox and David Fox; one sister, Joanne Hartzer; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Koeneman. Survivors include her four sons, David (Kathy) Koeneman of Columbus, Ohio, Douglas (Onna) Koeneman of Carmel, Indiana, Daniel (Shirley) Koeneman of Louisville, and Dean Koeneman of Elizabethtown; one sister, Jeanna Fox of Schaumburg, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Seth, Kadie, Allison, Derek, and Megan; eight great-grandchildren, Alric, Devlin, Atticus, Jackson, Donald, Miai, Grant, and Ellie and her special friends, Pam Coppersmith, Shelia Pinkston, Shelia Hazelton, Chris Glickman, Debbie Back and Chelsa Jones. The funeral is 12 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Father Kent Litchfield officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
