Robert Allen Barry, age 81, a native of Rineyville, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired after a career with the civil service after 20 years, and worked another 20 years in the airline industry. Robert was a proud member of the Vine Grove High School class of 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haynes Alva Barry and Alberta Miller Barry. He is survived by his brother, Stewart Barry of Albuquerque, NM. The funeral is Wednesday, May 10, at 12:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take form of donations to the American Heart Association.
