Delbert Eugene Peak, 61 of Rineyville, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Elizabethtown and a lifetime member of Longview United Methodist Church where he was baptized. "Boo" or "Del" loved hunting and fishing more than anything. He loved spending time with family friends and was a good guy that loved to help people. He retired from the Hardin County Board of Education where he worked as a custodian. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Ruby Peak; a brother, Wesley Peak; nephews, Teddy Ray Peak and Shane Allen Peak; and great-nephew, Craig Allen Wilson, Jr. Survivors include his life partner, Theresa Mullins of Rineyville; three brothers, Larry (Patricia) Peak of Warrenton, VA, Dennis (Becky) Peak of Hodgenville and William "Bill" (Selena) Peak of Rineyville; a sister-in-law, Pam Peak of Elizabethtown and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
