Harry Lee Goodin, 96, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was a lifetime farmer and served as treasurer and deacon at Youngers Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years. Harry was a 1945 Rineyville High School graduate and attended Valley Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Lewis Goodin; his parents, Curtis and Elizabeth Goodin; and one brother, Curtis Paul Goodin. Harry is survived by one son, Lewis C. (Pamela) Goodin of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Susan L. (Mark) Sullivan of Benton, KY; and five grandchildren, Evan Goodin, Claire (Lucas McAvoy) Goodin, Mason (Katie) Goodin, Patrick Carroll, and Lindsey (Ryan Perkins) Carroll. The funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at the funeral home and continues after 10 a.m. Monday.
