Rebecca Ballenger Pace moved to heaven Sunday, February 26th, after a valiant battle with a brief illness. Rebecca was born October 18th, 2000, and was the youngest of the seven Pace kids. She loved her family, and spent as much time with them as she could. She loved Jesus; she enjoyed studying the Bible, spending time listening to sermons, and singing along to worship music. Rebecca was incredibly generous and thoughtful; she was known for giving gifts to others, just because she wanted to bless them. She loved animals and taking care of them, pet sitting in her free time and working for Pace Cleaning Service. She was always laughing, teasing her parents and siblings. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jimmy Elmore, Betty Gregory Elmore Coats and Viola Pace. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Terese Pace; her siblings, Katie, Brennan (& Lauren), Hillary, Hayley(& Anthony), Eleanore (& Ben), Jared; her five nephews and nieces, who she absolutely adored and her paternal grandfather, Cletus Coats. A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, March 2nd at Lakeside Worship Center in Elizabethtown. Visitation will be open from 9-10:45AM, with the service beginning at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Rebecca's name to the Hardin County Animal Shelter, and to Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado, so more students can learn about Jesus.
