Beverly Kaye McMillen Goodman, 68, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 8th surrounded by her family at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on November 14, 1954. Beverly's greatest joy in life was making a home for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel McMillen; two brothers, Layman and J.W. McMillen; and three sisters, Susie May, Judy McMillen and Marilynn Jeffries; and her father-in-law, Grover Goodman. Survivors include her loving husband, Bobby Goodman; her daughter, Traci (Mike) Gillock; her son, Jarrod Goodman; her three beloved grandchildren, Jackson Gillock, Gracie Goodman , and Brianna Meredith; her brother, Darrell (Ina) McMillen; her sister, Debbie (Walter) Owens; her mother-in-law, Suvadas Goodman; her sisters-in-law, Shura McKinney, Valedia (Gary) Beauchamp, and Marti (Tim) Strewsbury; her brothers-in-law, Adrian and Anthony (Regina) Goodman as well as treasured nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen and her ashes will be spread behind her childhood home in Daffodil Meadows.
