James Edward Clark, 76 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was a native of Woodford County, KY; attended First Christian Church for many years and retired as Chief water plant operator for the city of Elizabethtown. He loved UK Basketball, traveling, watching westerns, listening to country music, dancing, and defending the weak. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Clark; his mother, Frances French and siblings, Betty Clark Hogwood and Dale Clark. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Clark; two daughters, Meggin Hu and Melissa Wakamo; his siblings, Raymond Clark, Clara Clark, Michael Clark, Doris Clark Dunn and Steven Clark; two granddaughters, Eleanor Hu and Adah Hu and much loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
