Paul E. McCamish, 95 of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Akron, Ohio, was an active member of St. James Catholic Church and retired from Crucible Steel. He was a sweet man and devoted husband. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Everett H. and Mary Ellen Ray McCamish; three brothers, Joseph, Charles and Donald McCamish and three sisters, Hettie Best, Rosaline Thomas and Pauline Reesor. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mary Lucille McCamish; six children, Ruth (Darrell) Freeman of Elizabethtown, Geneva (Glen) Logsdon of Bardstown, Patricia (Mike) Yates of Vine Grove, Larry (Wanda) McCamish of Cecilia, Vincent (Monica) McCamish of Elizabethtown and Therese (Phillip) Barnes of Edmonton; two sisters, Teresa Reesor of Elizabethtown and Mary Hufford of PA; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. James Catholic Church.
