Adelaide Clarice Luckett, 29 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Norton Downtown Hospital, after an extended illness. She was a 2011 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and a 2015 graduate of The University of Louisville, where she received her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from The Kent School of Social Work in 2016. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Adelaide worked in community mental health. She was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Rachel Luckett. She is survived by her wife, Courtney Wallace of Louisville; her parents, John and Linda Luckett of Elizabethtown; one sister, Dr. Cloe (Nathan) Gray of Buford, GA; her father-in-law, Edward Wallace of LaGrange; her sister-in-law, Kristie (Todd) Ash of Louisville; her maternal grandparents, Peter and Ethel Nolan of Elizabethtown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral is Thursday at 12 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Dr. Travis Collins officiating. Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can take the form of contributions to ChooseWell Communities (P.O.
