Upon retirement he worked as an Ambassador at a hospital serving primarily in the emergency department. While he had an accomplished career, his family was his greatest accomplishment and lasting legacy. He loved being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his 8 grandchildren. Grant is known for his stories (NEVER making a long story short) that he shared with family and friends. He had a knack for making a tremendous impact on everyone he met and appreciated people, always leaving them smiling for having known him.
