Sandra Ann Meyers Thompson, age 67 of Cecilia, passed away on Friday, September 16, at Baptist Health Hardin surrounded by her family and loved ones. She loved making arts and crafts, the beach, and socializing with her friends. She retired as a bookkeeper at Cecilia Farm Service with 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Meyers and Edna Myers; an infant son, Jason Mahoney; and step-daughter, Denise Thompson. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Kenny Thompson; son, Jimmy (Laura) Thompson of Cecilia; two step-sons, Glen (Patricia) Thompson of Sonora and Jeff Thompson of Louisville; and three brothers, Rick (Shelley) Meyers of Sonora, Bryan (Jennifer) Meyers of Elizabethtown, and Randall Meyers of Florida; twelve special grandchildren, Nathan and Trent (Taylor) Masterson; Robby, Autumn, and Ian Mackiewicz; Janney, Shayne, Scarlet, and Molly Crosby; Kyle Kennedy; and Felecia and Cody Thompson. In addition, one great grandchild, Adley Masterson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral is at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father Ben Brown officiating. Burial follows at St. John Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
