Deborah Kay Smith, aka "Smitty," 66 of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her home. She was well loved and touched a lot of people's lives. She was a down to Earth woman who was the "whole world" to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Beatrice Stillwell Yates. She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Howard of Elizabethtown; three sons, Johnny Smith of California, James "JC" Smith and Lee Powers, both of Elizabethtown; her partner of 30 years, Klinta Duvall; grandchildren, Alexis Smith and Christopher Smith; and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral is Wednesday, June 29th at 4 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Visitation begins at 12 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
