Isaac “Ike” M. Boutwell, 89, of Eastview, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at Kindred Hospital. He was a native of Pike County, AL and retired from the U.S. Marines. He served in the Korean War and was a Pilot. Ike was the owner of Movie Palace and Showtime Cinema. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association, American Legion Post #113 and he had a wealth of knowledge and loved history. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Boutwell and his parents, Shelby and Bernice Murphy Boutwell. Survivors include two children, Scott (Paula) Boutwell of Eastview and Debbie (John) Resseger of Vero Beach, FL; a step son, Marc (Patty) Jones of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Philip and Lori; four great grandchildren, Abby, Lexi, Aiden and Braden and two step grandchildren, Tyler and Rylee. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on Tuesday, July 5th at 12:30 pm.
