Frances Anne Borders Pitcock, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away, Friday, June 10, 2022. She was a native of Glasgow, KY and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. She owned her own daycare for 50 years and just recently retired. Anne was preceded in death by two husbands, Andrew Loftus Pitcock and James Hillman Newton; five siblings, Gene, Rex and Max Borders, Betty Kendall and Julia "Judy" Ralston and her parents, Winfred and Evelyn Borders. She is survived by a son, Barry K. (Pam) Pitcock her daughter, Sandy French; grandchildren, Britt and Drew Pitcock, Chad French (Jackie), Lindsey Mangino (Michael) and Morgan Tessin (Jonathan); eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Winfred D. "Winnie" Borders, Jr. (Pat) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-12 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
