Charlene Wright, 71 of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in her home. She was a native of Louisville and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna Miller Shofner and her sister, Joyce Wathen. She is survived by her husband, Edward Wright of Elizabethtown; two sons, Martin (Jennifer) Wright of Elizabethtown and Kevin Wright of Louisville; three brothers, Steve Shofner, Butch Shofner, and Larry Shofner; one sister, Shirley Cox; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Kayla, Brianna, Brendan, Brooklyn, Brayden, Beckham, and Bentley; and one great granddaughter, Anya. The funeral is Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Jimmy Sutton and Bro. Jerry Decker. Burial follows in Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville.
