Phyllis Faye Coogle, 77 of Eastview, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was born April 18, 1945 at her parents home in Hardin County and attended Stinnettsville Community Church. She loved fishing, gardening, house work, and listening to WJCR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Press and Lectie Givans Smallwood and two siblings, Thomas (Jane) Smallwood and Hazel (Walter) Helm. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Carl Wayne Coogle; a brother, Roger Dale (Diane) Smallwood; her caregivers, Ronnie and Malinda Helm; and five nieces and three nephews. It was important to Phyllis that she thanked her caretakers, Malinda and Ronnie, otherwise known as "My Good Buddy" for bringing her into their home and caring for her. The funeral will be Monday at 2 pm at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Meeting Creek Cemetery.
