David Gordon Cruse, 88 of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home. He retired from Jefferson County Schools and was an Author. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Sego Cruse; and his parents, Charles Arthur Cruse and Elva Montgomery Cruse. He is survived by his sister in-law, Christine Arnold and a brother, Ernest (Lila) Cruse; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
