Martha Elizabeth Borders, 66 of Glendale, died Monday, May 2, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Hardin County and and was a truck driver for Santek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Generose Bailey Smallwood; two brothers, Bob Smallwood and Sam Smallwood and two sisters, Donna Young and Rose Hash. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Leonard Borders; two children, Hope Smallwood (David) and Mike Smallwood (Lisa); two sisters, Becky Smallwood and Viola Wood (Dan); 4 grandchildren, Matt Jones (Alicia), Kayla Rohlff (Tyler), Christyn Staley and Hannah Smallwood and three great grandchildren, Cason Floyd, Abram Rohlff and Olivia Perkins and several nieces, nephews and many other loved ones. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Wayne Borders officiating. Burial will follow in Howevalley Cemetery.
