Denise Higdon, 61 of Cecilia, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of New Hope Community Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her church, singing and fellowship. Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Harvey HIgdon; two sons, George Jenkins (Heather) of Bordelonville, LA and Isaac Paul, Sr. (Katherine) of Radcliff; one daughter, Marilyn Holley (Allen) of Horse Cave; her mother, Ruby Murray of Hodgenville; four brothers, David Murray, Frank Murray, Walter Murray and Dewey Murray; eight grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Cassandra, Elisabeth, Israel, Isaiah, Isaac, Jr. and Illiyah and one great grandchild, Lilah Ruby. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
