Norma Frances Deneen

Norma F. Deneen April 11,1941 February 27, 2022 Norma passed away peacefully in her sleep early on the morning of February 27, 2022, at the age of 80. She was married to her devoted husband James D. Deneen for 59 years. Together they raised three sons Brian, Kelly, and Matthew. She was dedicated to her family and her community as she served along side her husband in several civic organizations. Her commitment to serving others was ever present as she served in the Red Cross and worked for many years to raise funds for Kosair Charities, children's eye care, and various military associations. She enjoyed volunteering to work the Hardin County voting polls and was involved in several political campaigns supporting local, state, and national candidates. Norma was an avid reader, community volunteer, and was fully dedicated to the causes she supported. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include by her husband James D. Deneen of Elizabethtown; three sons Brian (Janell Sinclair) of Colorado Springs, Kelly Deneen (Dawne Swank), and Matthew Deneen (Tanya) of Elizabethtown, her five grandchildren Trevor Deneen (Larra), Bronsen Deneen (Taylor), Julie McDougal (Ethan), Chase Deneen and Katelyn Deneen; her precious great grandchildren Elijah, Saige, Cooper, and Paisley Deneen; and many families and friends. A Memorial service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Bell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and continue Thursday from 11-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
