Juanita Virginia Rowe, 83 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Jefferson County, a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Louisville and was a greeter at Walmart for over15 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Schmetzer; her dear friend, Norman Roof; her parents, Claude Bently and Janie Wilson Winstead and her brothers and sisters, Wilson, Billy, Earl, Marion, Claude, Betty and Jane. Survivors include her son, Daniel Rowe; a brother, George Winstead; seven grandchildren, Isabella Rowe, Tyler Rowe, Krystal Rowe, Luz Delgado, Amber Mullins (Marc), Ryan Schmetzer and Scotty Schmetzer; seven great grandchildren, Aiden, Adrian, Ashton, Ava, Caleb, Lacey, Nick and Tristian; a son-in-law, Gary Schmetzer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
