Paul Swartz, 92 of Glendale, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at his residence. He was the kindest, most gentle person you would ever meet, and the most loving husband and father who loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the New Horizon Baptist Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Mary Potter Swartz; two sisters, Ola Mae Swartz and Dorothy Johnston; and one brother, Freeman Swartz. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Irene Polston Swartz of Glendale; two daughters, Paula McCoy of Glendale and Sherry Flores of Elizabethtown; four sons, Robert, Marvin, Greg, and Jeremy Swartz, all of Glendale; eight grandchildren, and several great and great great grandchildren. Family visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 18, with a private graveside service to follow at Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
