Dora Cartwright Shipley, 94 of Lebanon Junction, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She formerly worked at Jim Beam Distillery and Ford Motor Company. Dora was preceded in death by two husbands, Anthony Cartwright and Walter Shipley; her parents, Obie and Mary Bridgette Luckett Hinton and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Ancil) Shipley of Lebanon Junction; a brother, Chuck (Gail) Hinton of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Tony (Pat) Culver of Vine Grove, Tim (Amy) Culver of Clarkson and Tammy (Jerry) Reesor of Lebanon Junction; 6 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery.
