Virginia Meredith Welcher, 89, of Cecilia, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Tilda Meredith; one brother, Ansel Meredith; and two sisters, Owena Ward and Vivian Meredith. She is survived by her son, Lennie (Karen) Welcher of Cecilia and two grandchildren, Tommie (Sheilia) Welcher and Sarah (Stetson) Hays. The funeral is 12 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Open Valley United Missionary Baptist Church in Cecilia with Rev. Malcolm Doyle and Rev. Jeff Doyle officiating.
