Our dear Eve Elaine Honald (Kramer) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky died early January 11, 2021 due to Covid complications. Eve was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on July 11, 1981 to Arlin and Glory (Gardy) Kramer. She leaves behind her parents, her husband, Josh Honald, her siblings, Christian (Felicia) Kramer, Amy (Bryan) Hopper, and Theresa Tera (Chuck) Gerstenkorn, and many beloved nieces and nephews-Cody, William, Sophie, Gabi, Clayton, Henry, Maxx, Pyper, Ruby, Nikola, Eleanor, and Rosie; her mother and father in-law, Julie and Gregory Honald; brother-in-law, Jacob (Saraha) Honald and niece and nephew, Abigail and Jackson Honald. After graduating with a degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, Eve married the love of her life, Josh Honald, on January 23rd, 2006. Through the years and many moves, Eve cared for 100s of children as a nanny and daycare provider until she returned home in 2014 to care for her own nieces and nephews during the years of the great Kramer family baby boom. Eve was the most generous and loving of souls. She is the person wed all call on when we needed a gracious ear to listen. She had a way of making each of us feel like we were the most loved and valued person when she was present. Her nieces and nephews loved their Cioci (cha-chi), who enriched their lives in countless ways-teaching them everything from nursery rhymes to how to share. She was their greatest cheerleader and biggest fan. Everyday of the week, Eve cared for at least one of our children in her home, which was filled with their toys, books, and games. At family gatherings, she was always found with a baby on her hip. Our Evie will also be remembered for her silly side. She was known to bust a move in the kitchen, with a special affinity for late 90s boy bands and most recently, the K-pop group, BTS. And although, due to her eyesight, she couldn't drive a real car, she could kick all our butts at Mario Kart. We trust that Eve is in our Lord's hands yet her passing has left a great void in the family she has left behind. Eve will be greatly missed. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff with Rev. Jeff Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery on Fort Knox. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Hospital.
