Edith Overbay, 94, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the home of John and Debbie in Elizabethtown, KY accompanied by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and grandson, Patrick Overbay, her parents and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, John (Debbie) Overbay of Elizabethtown and David (Michelle) Overbay of Greenville, SC; a daughter, Patricia Overbay of Crossville, TN; seven granddaughters, Christie (Sonny) Walker, Rachel, her caregiver the last 10 years, (Zach) Morris, Elizabeth (Jason) Sosh, Tiffany Priddy, Melissa (Eric) Davies, Hailey and Zoey Overbay. Six grandsons, Scotty (Lariann) Overbay, Jeremy (Sara) Priddy, Joseph, Jordan, Nathan, and Tyson Overbay; and eleven great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Rachel for the love and exceptional care given to Edie the last ten years. Expressions of sympathy should take the form of contributions to Hosparus Health. Cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11 am at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church in Tennessee. Condolences may be expressed at brownfuneral.com.
