Brenda Carol Elmore, 69 of Cecilia, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her home. She was a member of White Mills Baptist Church, where she was the music leader, a member of Heartland Fillies and White Mills Homemakers. She retired from Fort Knox Civil Service. She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnne Harris and her father, Bill Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenny Elmore of Cecilia; three children, Michael Elmore (Lanissa) of Cecilia, Jeremy Elmore (Aimee) of White Mills, and Megan Elmore Morgan (Scott) of Elizabethtown; her step-mother, Delores Jackson of Florida; eight grandsons, Tyler, Britton, Cody, Conner, Chase, Caden, Camden, and Cannon; one granddaughter, Karrigan; and a great- grandson, Noah. The funeral will be Monday, December 27th at 2 p.m. at White Mills Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Underhill officiating. Burial will follow in White Mills Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and continues from 11 to 2 p.m. at White Mills Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to White Mills Baptist Church.
