Phyllis Lynn Richardson

Phyllis Lynn Richardson, who was a devotional wife, mom, sister and nana, departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday evening. She was born in Louisville, KY on March 25, 1955 to Albert Rollin and the late Mayme Pearl Beauchamp. She married her husband on July 11, 1975 at the Church of Christ at West Main Street in Leitchfield where she also met him. She retired July 1, 2020 from Lakewood Elementary School where she was the office manager. Her greatest career goal was to have a perfect audit, which she did year after year. She loved singing at worship services, and walking with her family and friends. Her most enjoyable moments were spent with her 12 grandchildren. She wanted everyone to know about them and displayed it on her license plate. She was always willing to provide a meal for friends and family and was greatly admired by faculty and staff of her school and the school district. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jeffrey Ray Richardson; three children, Stephanie (Tommy) Brothers, Chris (Pam) Richardson, and Rachel (Josh) Wilson; twelve grandchildren, Caleb Young, Camden and Asher Brothers, Levi, Isaac, Cainan, Samuel and Silas Richardson, Abby, Micah, Jude and Phoebe Wilson all of Eastview; her father, Albert (Lena) Beauchamp of Leitchfield; one brother, Dennis (Marilyn) Beauchamp of Leitchfield and three sisters, Robin (Mark) Parkhurst of McMinnville, TN, Jennifer (Monty) Dukes of Allison, TX and Jill Peters of Harned. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12 noon at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Parkhurst officiating. Burial will follow in Richardson Cemetery in Summit. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue from 9 to 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to JDRF, Hosparus or ALS.
