Carol Bosley Kimberlain, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at Baptist Health Louisville. Carol was very caring and the embodiment of love. She was a retired teacher from Hardin County Schools and St. James Catholic Schools. As an educator, she valued trying to bring out the best in people. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Kimberlain; her parents, Cranston O. Bosley II and Amelia Edelen; her step-father, Dr. John W. Ratliff; a brother, Cranston O. Bosley III; and a sister, Pamela (Ralph) Martin. She is survived by two sons, Jon (Saundra) Kimberlain of Elizabethtown and Robert (Anna) Kimberlain of Louisville; one sister, Ellen (Greg) Gottschlich of Cincinnati, OH; and three grandchildren, Evan, Lilia, and Caulder. A private memorial service will be held for family. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to go to organizations that help others, especially those in need, such as Hardin County UK Alumni Scholarship Fund, Habitat for Humanity, or Feeding America.
