Donnie LeRoy Curle, 77 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born August 13, 1944 and raised in Hodgenville, KY. Donnie lived in Elizabethtown where he raised his four Daughters, Bridgette, LaDonna, Toni and Brooke. He spent his professional life as a licensed car and boat mechanic as well as a commercial truck driver. He loved car and go-cart racing and won several races in his day. In his spare time, he enjoyed nascar, camping and fishing. Donnie was preceded in death by his daughter Bridgette Fowler, his parents, Mary and Clarence Curle, his brother Lonnie Curle, three sisters, Willie Pearl Madden, Aloma Mae Handley and Katherine Curle. Donnie is survived by his wife Thelma Curle, his three daughters, LaDonna Collins (Eric), Toni Smoot (Mason) and Brooke Shaw (Justin) and a sister Gail Clark. He has 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren. He also has three step-children, Wendy Gonzalez Poormon (Daniel), Robin Lynn Aragon and Samuel Malone. Service: A graveside service will be held Friday, August 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens 3817 Leitchfield Rd, Cecilia, KY 42724.
