Michael Paul Howlett, 23, of Glendale, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Hardin County and attended Brooks Baptist Church. He loved music, playing guitar and weight lifting. He was a graduate of Central Hardin High School where he was an accomplished football player and he also was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Mary Ray and John and Helen Howlett. He is survived by his parents, John and Debbie Howlett of Glendale; his girlfriend, Destiny Price of Elizabethtown; 5 brothers, Stephen (Liz) Jones of Elizabethtown, Jeremy (Melissa) Jones of Summersville, Jonathan Howlett of Lexington, Jeremy Howlett of Washington D.C., and Justin Howlett of Irvine, CA; his Godparents, Dana Sherrard and Jeremy Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family. His funeral will be at 11 am Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Weber officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MARC Center in Bowling Green.
