Billy Joe Rowe

Billy Joe Rowe, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 55 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Beverly Hills, Florida. Billy was born on October 23, 1965 to Sammy and Bonnie Rowe in Louisa, KY. As a Sergeant First Class for the Army, he served time overseas in Afghanistan and gave 33 years to the Army. Although he was proud of his military accomplishments, he was the most proud of his family. In his free time he loved spending time with family where he would always make someone laugh with the best sense of sarcastic humor. He enjoyed always having a project to work on such as remodeling houses and restoring cars. Billy was the families google, always having all of the answers. There is not anything he could not or would not do. He married Vickie Rowe and raised a whole bunch of kids, leaving them with the best memories. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Rowe and brother Cecil Ray. He leaves behind his wife, Vickie Rowe, his son, Michael (Nallely) Fuglsang, daughters Noel (Josh) Roeder, Shawna (Michael) Braxton, Kayla Rowe, Brittany (Gavin) Mullins, Erin Hale and Skylar Rowe. He leaves behind his 8 grandchildren, Michaela, Kaylie, Makenah, Makynzee, Max, Camden, Jeremiah and Aubrey. He also leaves behind his mother, Bonnie Rowe, sisters Trina Rowe and Sharon Smith, multiple other family members and close friends as well as two dogs and two horses. His family has organized a memorial service to honor Billys life and military service, which will be held at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1st from 11-1 and the funeral immediately following at 1pm. Following the funeral, family and friends can meet at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery at 2:30 pm for the burial.
