Michael "Stew" Stewart, 39, of Cecilia, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born in Louisville, KY and was in the U.S. National Guard. He worked as a lineman at United Electric. He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Debra Shumate Skaggs; a daughter, Alexis Dahl Walls; two sons, Awston (Kat) Hawkins of Sonora and Issac Stewart, both of Sonora; three sisters, Tammie Leason, Debra Epperson, and April Hall; a God- daughter, Tinsley Hicks; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation is Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues Wednesday after 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
