Sallie Dean White Hayes, 84 of Cecilia, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Macon County, TN and a member of Open Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard White and Earsie Earlene Cook Ward. Survivors include her husband, Chalmer Hayes; two children, Darrell Hayes of Cecilia and Debbie (Marshall) Peters of Eastview; sister, Carolyn Bolton of Louisville; three grandchildren, Jason Hayes, Angela Cusay and April Thompson and three great grandchildren, Brian and Jack Hayes and Chloe Hayes. The funeral will be Friday at 12 noon at Open Valley Church with Rev. Malcom Doyle and Rev. Jeff Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
