Burnice Joseph Boothe

Burnice Joseph "Joe" Boothe, 71 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Rineyville and served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from Civil Service after 33 years. Joe was a member of the Vine Grove Masonic Lodge #603 and loved playing Santa Clause. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh James Boothe, Sr. and Bernice Louise Vertrees Boothe. Joe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Jones Boothe; two daughters, Melanie Denise Green of San Antonio, TX and Jennifer Elaine McFadden of Sonora; one brother, Jimmy Boothe (Pam) of Bowling Green; three sisters, Jeanine Mason of Florida, Janice Prather (Donald) of Vine Grove and Janet Boothe of Cincinnati, OH and three grandchildren, Zachery Gaige McFadden, Isabella Sierra McFadden and Madison Victoria Green. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to any Veterans organization.
