Jane Roark Boggs

Jane Roark Boggs, 80, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, March 29, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Indiana. She was a native of Lynch, KY, attended Old Capital Christian Church in Corydon, IN, and was a secretary for Fort Knox schools for 22 years. She was a member of the Kentucky and National Association of Educational Office Professionals and was the Kentucky Professional Secretary of the year. She was a Kentucky Colonel and past president of Junior Women's Club in Elizabethtown in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Frank Boggs; two brothers, James Roark and Lloyd Roark; sister, Edna Jordan; and parents, Willie and Ida Roark. She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Eddie) Wate of Elizabeth, IN, and Kelly (Burl) Miller of Rineyville; two sisters, Willa Joyner of NC, and Brenda Burger of KY; grandson, Brad (Rachel) Wate of Elizabeth, IN; and four great grandchildren, Gracie, Jack, Max, and Luke Wate. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Stuart officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and continues after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
